Scoil Cholmcille is a small friendly school in St Dominic’s Parish which offers a wide range of educational experiences for children in a caring atmosphere.  There is individual attention and the full curriculum.  Every child is taught computer skills, swimming and chess.  The school takes part in swimming galas, chess leagues and school athletics competitions.  Gardening and cookery are included in the curriculum. There is great emphasis on Educational outings and there are regular trips to the theatre, environmental areas of interest, science exhibitions etc.   The children are encouraged to participate in the wider community by taking part in such activities as the Health Heart Skipathon, M.S. Readathon etc.

A Breakfast club gives each child a healthy start to the day’s activities and a hot, nutritious lunch is offered to all pupils.
