There are three primary schools in St.Dominic’s Parish, St.Dominic’s, St.Colmcille’s and Scoil Santain. St.Dominic’s NS  and St.Colmcille’s NS are both parish schools. Scoil Santain is a Bunscoil Lan-Ghaelach and has a different administration. All three schools are co-educational.
 St.Dominic’s was established in September 1990 as a result of the amalgamation of the former Our Lady of Loreto Boys’ and Girls’ Schools. Our Lady of Loreto Girls’ and Boys’ Schools were opened on July 1st. 1970.
St.Colmcille’s School was opened on July 1975. It moved to the St.Dominic’s campus in September 1990.
Scol Santain was opened in the summer of 1979.
