In the ministry of reading, a Christian is the servant of the living Word of God.

• This Word of God was proclaimed down through the ages. 
• It took flesh in the person of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
• That enlightening, sobering comforting Word is brought into Christians’ lives by the ministry of the reader.
• At each mass, the reader tells our Christian family story.
• It is the account of our journey with God through life.

It is a challenging and important mission in the community.

"Let the Reader by aware of the Office he/she has taken and make every effort and employ every suitable means to acquire that increasingly warm living love and knowledge of Scripture that will make he/she a more perfect disciple of the Lord." (Paul VI)

The monthly meeting of readers takes place on the first Monday of the month at 8.00 pm in the sacristy.
